In the twelfth year of the Tianbao era, the resurrection of the Heavenly Demon was imminent. The Demon King Xieyu intended to use the Heavenly Demon to rule the demon race, overthrow the human world, and turn it into a demon's domain. The Exorcism Bureau of the human world summoned talented young people back to Chang'an to prepare for the Heavenly Demon's reappearance four years later.
