He played the lead role of Greg Heffley in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid film series (2010–2012), which earned him nominations for a Kids' Choice Award and seven Young Artist Awards. His other lead film roles include Huevos: Little Rooster's Egg-cellent Adventure (2016) and Dreamcatcher (2021).
