Gurira is wearing a Dora Milaje warrior costume. The costume is red and gold with an intricately beaded tabard in orange, brown, and gold. Leather bands surround the chest, waist, and hips. She is also wearing a necklace and arm band of stacked gold rings in the style of the Ndebele tribe's idzila and gold shoulder armor and belt buckle. She holds a silver spear with stacked gold bands towards Jordan. Behind her, the Dora Milaje warriors wear similar costumes, with red beaded tabards and silver armor and rings. All hold spears pointed towards Jordan. Jordan is on the right side of the image, holding a short spear in his proper left hand and a machete in his proper right hand, with both out towards the Dora Milaje. He wears a long black jacket, dark grey pants, and black boots. A kimoyo bead bracelet is on his proper left wrist. In the foreground of the image is a crane-suspended film camera.
