The two actors are pictured together on a curved cement staircase in the center of the image, in front of a blue screen. Boseman, wearing a long black tunic, stands facing Nyong'o and holding both her hands in his. Nyong'o is perched on the edge of the staircase railing, wearing a green woven tunic dress and over the knee boots. A kimoyo bead bracelet is visible on her proper left wrist. Above them, on the left side of the image, is a suspended film camera and extended mic boom with fur covered microphone. A partially visible member of the film crew holds a white reflecting panel beneath the camera.
