The two are pictured seated, facing each other, on the set of a cave interior. Boseman is on the left side, sitting on stone steps. He is wearing a striped cloth draped around his shoulders,brown shorts, and a beaded panther claw necklace. His arms are crossed in front of him and both of his legs are bent. His proper left leg is propped up on one of the steps. He is smiling and looking at Forest Whitaker, who is on the right side of the image. Whitaker wears a textured purple robe and red pants with coiled leather necklaces. He is sitting on a decorative stool. There are leaves and flowers on the ground behind them and microphones on boom poles above their heads. A film camera is on the right side of the image, with the operator just visible in the frame.
