Harald Glööckler, real name Harald Glöckler (born 30 May 1965), is a German fashion designer and entrepreneur, who became famous mainly for his rhinestone-studded and glittering creations. His trademark is a crown motif, which is often supplemented by a "POMPÖÖS" lettering.

== Early life == Glööckler's parents owned a restaurant. He has a brother who is two years his junior. Glööckler describes his childhood as a traumatic time, shaped above all by his violent and alcoholic father. In addition, he was sexually assaulted by a family friend, which he never discussed due to his unstable parental home. When Glööckler was 19 years old, his mother died by falling downstairs. This was regarded as an accident by authorities, however, according to Glööckler, the fall was caused by his father, to whom he never spoke a single word again, until he died in 1992, 13 years later.

== Career == Glööckler was already interested in fashion in his youth and sewed evening gowns for acquaintances.
