In addition to ARCA, he has previously served as a crew chief in the NASCAR Cup Series, what is now the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series as well as the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. He previously crew chiefed for Team Penske, Richard Childress Racing, JGL Racing, Fury Race Cars, RSS Racing, David Gilliland Racing, McAnally-Hilgemann Racing, Bassett Racing, ThorSport Racing, Rackley W.A.R. and 1/4 Ley Racing.
