Serhiy Viktorovych Zhadan (Ukrainian: Сергі́й Ві́кторович Жада́н, Ukrainian pronunciation: [serˈɦii̯ ˈʋiktɔrɔwɪt͡ʃ ʒɐˈdan]; born 23 August 1974) is a Ukrainian poet, novelist, musician, translator, and social activist. He has been a member of the ska band Zhadan i Sobaky since 2008. In early June 2024, Zhadan posted on his Facebook page that he had joined the 13th "Khartia" Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, which has been in active combat.
