Frankie Wallace is a pseusonym on Challenge for Frank[ie] Marvin.
Challenge Records, introduced in 1927, was a budget record label sold by the Sears-Roebuck Company in their stores and through mail-order. Recordings from other labels such as Banner, Gennett, and Paramount were the source of many Challenge releases as most did not require royalty payments. Many recordings were released using pseudonyms for the recording artists. The last of the Challenge recordings were released in 1931.
