The object in the museum catalogue
An archival pigment print photograph of collaged images featuring a black-and-white photograph of a woman in a floral dress seated at a piano. The photograph has been torn at the top and bottom and set into the dark shape of a house, with crocheted lace appearing across the top of the house shape. The house shape appears along the left side of the photograph, set against a piece of sheet music in the background. The sheet music is slightly out of focus and four lines of verses appear at right center. The print is mounted on black sintra pvc board with back frame and a label with the artist, title, date, medium, and dimensions.
