This harmonica was made by M. Hohner in Germany, ca. 1912-1924. It is a Harmonette model, with 16 double holes and 32 reeds. This harmonica has a brown stained wooden comb with metal cover plates attached to the sides with nails. The harmonica is inserted into a red painted wooden harp-shaped case with a sound hole. Accessioned with original cardboard box. The harp-shaped box is stamped:
