This kazoo was donated by Barbara Dean Stewart (1941 – 2011). Stewart was an American composer and musician, known for her work on the kazoo as a researcher and author. She was the founder of the group Kazoophony, and was called a "kazoo virtuoso." Stewart was the author of the popular book, The Complete How To Kazoo.
