The object in the museum catalogue
A silver gelatin print depicting a black-and-white image of a woman dancing. The woman is centrally depicted with her proper right side facing the viewer. Her arms and legs are fully extended out and is caught mid-leap. She wears a white dress and metallic, wedge sandals. On the left side of the image, two-thirds of the way from the bottom, is a bass player. Both people are on a stage with a seated audience in the background, seen in the lower right quadrant. On the reverse, in the center, is an inscription handwritten in blue ink that reads, [Alice Sjôblom / Hästholmsvägen 10 / Stockholm].
