A uniform hat (a) with plume (b) for the Howard University “Showtime” marching band. The shako-style cap is made of white synthetic leather, with a cylindrical crown, white visor, and white chin strap. There is a contrasting navy-blue band with red decorative trim wrapping around the full crown and coming to a peak at the front center where there is a silver metallic badge with navy “H” emblem. Above the white visor is a white and metallic silver decorative cord. Accompanying the hat is a flowing red and silver plume.
