This bow was made by an undetermined maker in France, around 1775-1799.
It is a viola bow with a dark Pernambuco stick with an ivory face, an openface ivory frog and bone button. This is an interesting “round” stick with clear oval graduation in the center, becoming round toward the head. The overall length is 71.75 cm, playing hair length is 64.1 cm, and the weight is 53.8 grams.
