Story and premise

Famed Ace of Cakes Duff Goldman leaves his bakery behind and takes us on a a sweet road trip on a mission to find the best desserts in America, which range from Baked Alaska to Boston cream pie. Duff as the locals at each city to find out where they eat at when they got a sugar craving and then he meet the people behind the best deserts in the nation and gets the low down on it's history and the magic behind-the-scenes of making it. Whether he's mixing an egg cream in Chicago or even to building the best hot fudge sundae in Dallas, Duff brings his unbridled enthusiasm with each new sugar-filled, chocolate-covered bite.
