История отечественного военного альпинизма: Story, Cast and Series Facts

Story and premise

Are you convinced that mountains are an impenetrable border? That ridges and sheer cliffs will stop any enemy? Such a belief can prove costly if relied upon in national defense. As past events have repeatedly proven, an experienced enemy can use the heights as a springboard for a surprise attack at any moment. This film explores the most heroic chapters in the history of Russian military mountaineering. It explores the complex art required to defeat the enemy even when the front recedes into the clouds. We'll explain when and why mountain rifle units were created, and why they are as indispensable today as they were centuries ago.
