Story and premise
Michelle got her unusual name from the father she was destined to never meet. On the eve of her wedding, he was arrested for a robbery he didn't commit. Michelle grew up fatherless, and her mother fervently hoped her daughter wouldn't share her fate. But... on the eve of the wedding, Michelle's groom is arrested for murder. Her mother sends Michelle to Moscow to live with her former neighbor, Emma. Overwhelmed by the warm welcome, Michelle, a naive provincial girl, couldn't have imagined that Emma's hospitality, her rapid career advancement at her company, and even her engagement to her son were all part of a carefully orchestrated game.
