Story and premise

After her nouveau riche stepfather murdered her family and seized their fortune, Chu Minghui narrowly escaped death and changed her identity to survive. To enact her revenge, she entered into a contract dating agreement with the Young Marshal to help him assassinate his younger brother, Gu Tongpei. However, a forbidden love ignited between her and Gu Tongpei. Just as Chu achieved her revenge, she was shattered to discover the man she loved was her enemy. After resolving a series of misunderstandings, the two joined forces to subdue the true culprit—the Young Marshal.
