Story and premise
1940-1975. With the pipes in hand, the boots in the mill and the promise to stop nuclear power, Thorbjörn Fälldin raises the Center Party to unhealthy heights. Was he perhaps a new kind of politician? A fairer one who would never compromise on his conviction? Everything seems to go Fälldin's way when the Social Democrats after 44 years may leave power. But had he promised too much? A contemporary historical documentary by Pär Fjällström.
