Story and premise

Meng Yu was fostered away from home from a young age. Her biological parents doted on their adopted daughter, Meng Huan, and only used her. After breaking up with her ex-boyfriend, she was forced to accept her family's arrangement to marry Fu Qingshao, the heir to the Fu Group. He needed a loveless, unconditional wife to avoid suspicion, while she needed the status of Mrs. Fu to live a stable life and earn money to treat her adoptive mother's illness. The two, each getting what they wanted, signed a contract and hastily got married.
