Story and premise

Ueda Itsuki is a 39-year-old single pharmacist. She had landed the job she wanted, enjoyed romance, and lived a peaceful life. However, her long-time boyfriend, Sawada Masakazu, got engaged to another woman... Sawada was someone Itsuki truly loved, but she couldn't express her feelings honestly and couldn't blame him so she wouldn't be hated. One day, on the way home from a drinking party with her colleagues, a younger man, Matsushige Eito, appears in front of Itsuki, and they suddenly start living together. Then she meets Sato Kohei, a medical representative who gives her peace of mind with his straightforward love and kindness... She starts to realize the true meaning of her happiness and the importance of being loved by someone, and something begins to change inside Itsuki...
