Story and premise

Ariel agrees to serve a prison sentence for a crime he did not commit in exchange for a promise that his seriously ill mother will be taken care of. His conviction costs him not only his freedom but also Cristina, the love of his life. Fifteen years later, upon his release, he discovers that everything was carefully orchestrated and sets out to clear his name, seek justice, and reunite with the woman he never stopped loving.
