Story and premise

Under the peaceful life of noodle shop owner Han Dong and his wife Lin Meiyue lies a turbulent past. Lin was once "Li Rongzhen" in night clubs and was blackmailed and exposed by her former "friend" Ling. Meanwhile, the secret that Han has buried for twenty years is uncovered due to a mysterious revenge plot. The relentless pressure from Han's old friend Sun Haitao plunges the couple into an invisible web of intrigue—Han's past cowardice led his high school classmate Zhao Xiaoqi into the darkest period of her life. The alliance between Lin and her former close friend Mei also reveals a shocking secret from the past that points directly at the all-powerful Sun family. The couple goes from passive defense to a desperate counterattack, joining hands to defend their family and exposing the Suns' crimes. When the dust settles, Han and Lin are imprisoned for their past helplessness and present disproportionate retaliation.
