Each episode focuses on a distinct destination, with the first episode set in the Falkland Islands, the second travelling to the wildlife-rich island of South Georgia, and the final episode culminating in Antarctica itself.

From vast ice fields and towering glaciers to windswept coastlines and polar seas, Julia explores the wildlife and delicate ecosystems of these regions, learning from the scientists and specialists dedicated to understanding and protecting these extreme environments.
