Story and premise

The Celestial Lord ruled the Celestial Clan with an iron fist. Ten thousand years ago, he launched the Battle of Immortal-Slaying Platform, forcing Long Xian, the Young Lord of the Dragon Clan, and Ying Luo, the Celestial War God, to perish together. Little did he know that Long Xian was his own grandson, bearing the Celestial Clan's bloodline. Ten thousand years later, Long Xian was reborn in his immortal form. Determined to maximize the success of subduing Long Xian, the Celestial Lord dispatched Ying Luo—the female war god, who had also been reborn—to the Dragon Clan once more. To everyone's surprise, Long Xian abandoned direct confrontation this time. Instead, he offered her the Position of Dragon Clan Protector, vowing to exchange his sincere heart for her true feelings and risking everything to turn her to his side. Amidst their clash of schemes, a bond of mutual sympathy grew between them. Unwilling to tolerate betrayal from his subordinate, the Celestial Lord sealed Ying Luo's divine powers. Their karmic bond spanning multiple lifetimes finally led them to repeat their fate at Immortal-Slaying Platform. Long Xian sacrificed himself to the sword and vanished from the mortal realm.
