Story and premise

Mo Xiaoxian, a medicine devotee, sets her sights on Crown Prince Qi Jue who suffers from the rare poison "Bai Guanyin." She barges into the Eastern Palace to treat him, helping him uncover the truth that the Empress Dowager is the one who poisoned him. Resolved to seize the throne, Qi Jue strikes a deal with Mo Xiaoxian: he lets her test her medicines on him in exchange for her curing his poison. Amid the whirlpool of royal political intrigue, the two stand firmly by each other, unmasking a web of conspiracies.
