Story and premise

Griselda Carrasco is a humble woman, but rich in morals and principles. She dedicates her life to the well-being of her three children and grandson. As a single parent, she learned to be a handyman to support her family. She neglects her appearance because of the harsh reality that surrounds her and her working conditions. However, she is very proud of her line of work. Her ex-husband, Jose Salinas, was seemingly lost at sea, but reappears fifteen years later and will try to claim his place. Destiny leads Griselda to Reinaldo Ibarra, an honorable man, despite his social status. He is married to Teresa Cristina, but will be delighted with Griselda's essence, and he will gradually discover that his wife hides a dark secret. Griselda's life will change the moment she wins the lottery and becomes a millionaire overnight. She crosses paths with Teresa Cristina, who will do anything possible to destroy her, especially when she realizes she is losing her husband and daughter.
