Moordzaken: Eeuwige Twijfel: Story, Cast and Series Facts

Story and premise

There are murder cases in our collective memory where the picture is incomplete: cases where the convicted continue to proclaim their innocence, or where the wrong person is prosecuted. Or cases where the accused are acquitted despite strong suspicions. In Moordzaken: Eeuwige Twijfel, VTM reconstructs seven murder cases where doubt persisted despite the legal truth. Using archive footage and interviews with investigators, judges, suspects, relatives and journalists, crime journalist José Masschelin pieces together the story of the parachute murder, the earplug murder and the Bernard Wesphael case, among others.
