Story and premise
Jennifer Corner is a rather scatterbrained middle-class homemaker. Husband Henry is a school art teacher, They have three children, a boy in his early teens and two girls who were slightly younger. In later series she had a baby and they moved from the London suburb of Battersea to the country.
