Story and premise

The thrilling work of #1 New York Times bestselling author Patricia Cornwell made its on-screen debut in the Lifetime Original Movies.

At Risk introduces Win Garano, the rising star of the Massachusetts State Police, who Monique "Money" Lamont - the ambitious and brazen Boston district attorney - sends to Tennessee to investigate a murder that took place more than 20 years before. Monique hopes the case will showcase her new crime initiative and propel her to the top. In the fast-paced sequel, The Front, Monique and Win reunite to investigate Boston's most famous criminal. Attempting to generate much needed publicity for her flagging political aspirations, Monique orders Win to re-open the investigation of the brutal, decades-old murder of a young blind woman. They soon learn that the crimes of the past aren't very different from the crimes of today.
