Permission to Cheat: Story, Cast and Series Facts

Story and premise

To preserve her sexless five-year marriage and combat intense emotional loneliness, Kae, a frustrated homemaker carrying the burden of solo childcare, agrees to her husband Hiroki's surprising proposal to seek physical and intimacy fulfillment through an "approved affair." However, as Kae engages with former partners, dating apps, and professional services with Hiroki's consent, she realizes that casual physical satisfaction cannot replace her true desire: to be emotionally cherished and genuinely loved. Ultimately, her search for intimacy forces her to confront her deepest desires and reassess the true meaning of happiness within her marriage.
