Story and premise
Rhys Ifans and Sophie Kennedy Clark star in Turner Prize-nominated visual artist Jake Chapman's wildly-imaginative, hypnotic and strangely unsettling drama.
In the highly original twisted 'romance', our heroine Lydia has been gifted a desert island by her fiancée as a wedding present. She goes to the island to wait for him but meets Helmut, a reclusive and misshapen author who exerts a strange control over her. Battling with her emotions, Lydia begins to suspect that all is not what it seems on the island...
