Story and premise

Song Zhi once had a marriage that ended almost as quickly as it began. She and Chi Yuchuan rushed into marriage, divorced just as fast, and she believed that once they separated, they would simply go their separate ways and become strangers again.

Four years later, that plan falls apart when Chi Yuchuan suddenly appears in front of her desk—as her new boss. Still carrying years of anger and hurt, he finally explodes and accuses Song Zhi of abandoning both her husband and daughter. But beneath all the resentment are wounds neither of them ever truly dealt with.
