Mikkel Morgenstar Pålssønn "Mix" Diskerud (born October 2, 1990) is a former professional soccer player who played as a midfielder. Born in Norway to an American mother and a Norwegian father, he represented the United States internationally. A full international since 2010, he has won 38 caps and scored 6 goals for the United States national team, and was a part of their 2014 FIFA World Cup squad. His mother coined his nickname "Mix" when he was learning to walk, as he was energetic and ran around the house like a mixmaster.
