A poster advertising jazz performances at Slugs’ in the Far East, also known as Slugs’ Saloon, for January and February 1971. The poster is green with black text and graphics. At the top right corner is the Slugs’ in the Far East logo, phone number, and address. At left is a larger Slugs’ logo with an illustration of a trumpet atop a bentwood chair. At right is a listing of dates and performers. The performers include Donald Byrd, Leon Thomas, Elvin Jones, Lee Morgan, and McCoy Tyner. At bottom right is [JAZZ NIGHTLY 9 P.M. to 4 A.M.]. Additional text along the bottom edge reads [MURRAY POSTER PRINTING Co. Inc., 221 W. 64 St. NYC]. There are no markings on the reverse of the poster.
