A poster advertising jazz performances at Slugs’ in the Far East, also known as Slugs’ Saloon, for October and November 1967. The poster is black with white text and graphics. At the top right corner is the Slugs’ in the Far East logo, phone number, and address. At left is a larger Slugs’ logo with an illustration of a trumpet atop a bentwood chair. At right is a listing of dates and performers. The performers include Wynton Kelly Quartet with Hank Mobley, Jackie McLean Quartet, Cecil Taylor Unit, Yusef Lateef Quarter, and Charles McPherson Quintet with George Coleman. At bottom right is [Every Monday Night – Special Attraction / “SUN-RA and His ASTRO-INFINITY MUSIC”]. Additional text reads [PROMOTION: / JIM HARRISON] and [MURRAY POSTER PRINTING Co.
