This is a pin with the China-Burma-India theater insignia for American soldiers. The common red, white, and blue stars and stripes shield of the U.S. inspired the design of this insignia. A twelve-pointed Chinese sun replaces the stars on the left, and the Star of India is on the right. The red and white stripes remain to represent the U.S.
