Stories which are absorbing in the extreme. - Summary from the book jacket This is number nine of the "Original Ten" Hardy Boys books which have been regarded by some as the best of the series and the publisher, the Stratemeyer Syndicate. The boys prepare to graduate from high school and are witnesses to a suspicious airplane emergency landing. Soon they become involved with their father, the famous detective Fenton Hardy, in investing a theft ring only to be falsely accused and arrested.
