Who is Accasbel?

Creation Accasbel was created by writer/artist Peter Gross in The Books of Magic issue 51 , in 1998. Major Story Arcs Accasbel has run The Inn Between Worlds, one of the four Safe Houses, also known as Free Houses, of the realms, for a very long time. These are places where anyone is safe and free to come, as per the rules created by the Lords of the Compact. Many beings stay there for protection and the solace of drink and companionship. Thomas Currie began his story of the Other there, and Accasbel played bagpipes for him when he left. One of his main assistants is Joh , a young girl. He acts like a father to her. When a magic storm, released by the Other, weakens the borders between realms, Joh wanders through them, and meets up with several other beings, including Tim Hunter , in his guise as Mary Hunter.
