History Flash secret files 2 Angela Margolin is the chief of the Central City Police Department's Science Detection Bureau. This is the same job, which Barry Allen (Flash II) formerly held. Skilled in police science, her specialty is chemistry, although she is well versed in all physical sciences. When Angela was not in the office running ballistics checks and fingerprints, she was in the field investigating murder scenes and the occasional odd phenomenon or damage left in the wake of a super-villain. Until the arrival of Walter West , an alternate dimension version of Wally West , Angela was totally devoted to her job. Angela temporarily emerged as a central character within the Flash series . During issues 152-159, she and Walter fell in love. She accepted Walter West's marriage proposal, but was devastated when Superman and Wonder Woman arrived and warned Angela and Walter about Walter's open bridge between the alternate time streams.
