Who is Asano Kimura?

One of Logan's oldest friends, Asano Kimura was originally a contact in Japan for Logan ( Wolverine ). He worked in Japanese Secret Service as a special agent. Logan and Asano fought against Shingen Yashida and his organization until Asano's assassination at the hands of Yukio . Asano first warns Logan about the dangers in Japan, as well as telling him that Shingen Yashida (the father of Logan's Fiancee) has kidnapped Mariko Yashida (Logan's wife) and holds her "prisoner" in Japan. This leads Logan to Japan to face Shingen, and save his Fiancee, as well as finding out who is Asano's killer.
