Origin After his father, the sultan of Baghdad had been killed, Sinbad was the main suspect. Ashcroft had fled the city of Baghdad out of fear for his life, leaving the city in the care of his evil uncle Tipu. Ashcroft became a sailor, eventually meeting the beautiful Samelia , who was under mental control by captain Orland. He stayed by her side, hoping to free her somehow, until Sinbad showed up and destroyed the gem that controlled Orland's crew. Looking for a crew, Sinbad offered them a place on his boat. Now, Ashcroft had another motive to stay, gaining the trust of Sinbad, trying to find out if he was really guilty of his father's murder and then kill him.
