Who is Atoman?
Origin Working at the Atomic Institute, Barry Dale discovers that he has assimilated the power of the atom and possesses super strength, flight, super-speed, invulnerability, the ability to weld metal with his hands, and other abilities as a result of working on radium and uranium. Evidently his body can explode atoms which grants him "atomic strength." Creation Atoman was created by Jerry Robinson , and made his first appearance in Atoman #1 . In 1950, the comic was reprinted in New World Comics where Atoman was renamed to Atomaster, and the costume color changed from yellow/red to blue/red.
