Birdy is a Marvel comic book character, the alter ego of Unknown, with over 73 comic issue appearances. Birdy was a telepath who was Sabretooth's partner for a time. She learned to use her telepathy to temporarily calm Sabretooth's murderous rage, leading to his dependence on her until her death at the hands of Sabretooth's son, Graydon Creed.

Origin Not much is known about Birdy's history, or even her full name. What is known is that Birdy is a mutant with telepathic abilities. She became a mercenary after discovering her powers. Creation Birdy was created by Scot Lobdell and Jim Lee and first appeared in "adjectiveless" X-men Vol.1 issue 6 (1991). Major Story Arcs Birdy wants to Fly Birdy was briefly the partner of the homocidal mercenary known as Sabretooth . She was hired because of her powers. She used her telepathy to temporarily soothe his homicidal rages (an effect referred to as "the glow") which led Sabretooth to become dependent on her. Eventually Birdy wanted to get away from him, but she knew he would never led her go.
