Who is Buzzy Brown?
Creation Buzzy's new role Buzzy Brown was a teenaged musician and hep cat who debuted in "All Funny Comics" #1 (Winter 1943-1944). He graduated to his own title "Buzzy" with issue #1 having a Winter 1944-1945 cover date. The title lasted to #77 (October, 1958). DC apparently added a redesigned version of the character to the supporting cast of Binky in the late 1960s, who also appeared in several one-page stories in various DC titles, where he discussed various sensitive social issues. Character Evolution Buzzy started out as a more "cartoony" like character but over the years the style changed and he appeared much more realistic looking.
