Creation Combatra was created by Saburo Yatsude for the anime series Chōdenji Robo Combattler V (1976-1977) for Nippon Sunrise e Toei Animation , arrived in America in Mattel's Shogun Warriors toy collection and was adapted into Marvel Comics by Doug Moench and Herb Trimpe in 1979 and first appeared in Shogun Warriors # 2. Powers & Abilities Combatra possessed immense physical strength and the" fingers" of its mechanical hand were rocket launchers. It was equipped with laser cannons and missiles.The robot could fly at high speeds and completed the flight from Japan to California in a matter of hours. Its body parts could also function as autonomous vehicles. It could track the location of its pilot through a transmission device.
