History The Deva Princes were a secret group of four aristocrats in the world of Grendel during the era of Pope Innocent XLII . They were dedicated to various good deeds and wanted to take Innocent down. They were divided in how to do this. Orion Assante and another member wanted to do it through legal channels. Two other members were in favor of assassination. Ultimately, Assante quit the group, which he considered to be too slow and hesitant. They brought in a new member from Japan, who agreed to spearhead the assassination of Innocent. However, Innocent learned about Assante's involvement with the group through Pellon Cross , and had them arrested and tortured.
