Dimwitty Duck is a supporting character of Donald Duck introduced in February, 1968. The two are possibly distant relatives. He is not very bright and seems to be a version of Goofy as a duck. He was introduced as a sidekick to Donald, mirroring the relationship of Goofy to Mickey Mouse. He was eventually developed into the sidekick of Moby Duck, another presumed distant relative.
