Darkseid and the scientists of Apokolips utilized Doomsday DNA to create a batch of clones, although because of the complexity the clones were vastly inferior. He then sent the clones to act as a distraction to the Amazons , Superman , Batman and Wonder Woman while he kidnapped Supergirl . The clones were then defeated by a combination attack of heatvision and explosive batarangs. Powers and Abilities While significantly stronger then any human the clones were far inferior to the true Doomsday, being much weaker and less durable.
